Changelog
Nothing has shipped to a customer yet, so there is nothing here. This page starts at the beginning rather than at a convincing-looking version 2.4.
No releases yet
PublicViews is being built and has not launched. The first entry on this page will be the first version anyone outside the build can use. Until then the honest state of this page is empty, and we would rather show you an empty page than six invented entries on a product whose whole pitch is that you can trust us with your data.
How these will be written
- A date on every entry. The date it reached customers, not the date the work finished.
- What changed, in the words you would use. Not “various improvements”.
- What broke, in the same list as what shipped. Incidents and regressions get an entry with the same weight as a feature. A changelog that only contains good news is marketing.
- Anything that changes what a viewer can see gets called out. On this product that is the category of change that matters most, so it is never buried in a list.
- No entries for blog posts, pricing pages, or hires. This page is about the software.
What the first entry will cover
The launch build: connecting an Attio workspace, publishing a list or a filtered object as a table, board or record page, per-attribute visibility with everything hidden by default, the exposure preview, password and email or domain gates, expiring links, the scheduled check against Attio with Sync now, viewer edits held for your approval, and the audit log.
The roadmap has the same list broken into what comes first and what comes after, including the two things we chose to leave out of the launch build.
Getting told
There is no mailing list to join yet. If you want to hear when the first version lands, email help@publicviews.app and say so. That address reaches the person building it, and your address will not be used for anything else.
