PublicViews

A seat and a shared view are not the same thing.

Buying an Attio seat is the obvious answer to “how do I show this person my list”. It is also the wrong shape, and Attio says so themselves. Here is the comparison, with their prices and their words.

An Attio seat is priced per person, and restricting one to a single list requires Attio’s Pro plan at $99 per user per month. It is also an account: your client creates a login, learns a CRM, and gets notifications they did not ask for.

PublicViews is $39 a month total, covers every viewer you have, and each of them opens a link and sees the attributes you picked on the records you picked.

If the person is a colleague who works in the CRM, buy them a seat. If they need to look at one list, do not.

What Attio says

“It’s not currently possible to share lists externally. On our Pro or Enterprise plans, you could add someone as a member and limit their access to just one list, but they would still be able to see all records across your workspace. If this is something you’d like to see in the future, let us know at support@attio.com.”

Three things are in that paragraph. External sharing does not exist. The workaround needs a paid plan. The workaround does not do what you wanted.

Attio may narrow that last point: their team has said object-level permissions are on the way. The first two do not change, and neither does the shape of the problem. A seat is still priced per person and it is still an account your client has to create.

The arithmetic

Attio seats per month
$990
PublicViews per month
$99

Attio price $99/user/month, attio.com/pricing, checked 19 August 2026. Verify before quoting.

The two lines diverge because seats are priced per head and we are not. That gap is the product.

When a seat is the right answer

Buy the seat when the person needs to work in the CRM. If they are running searches, building reports, moving deals across objects, writing notes against records you did not publish, or using Attio’s workflows and sequences, a published view will frustrate them and they should have the real thing.

Buy the seat when they are a colleague. Seats are correctly priced for employees. Our argument is about the people who are not.

Try it against one real list.
